Program Schedule


The Program is an online live webinar program. The program is a weekend program. It is presented over 2 weekends. 

The live webinar sessions will be on 4 days each session of 3 hours duration. Webinars start at 9:30 am to 1:00 pm.

The program requires participants to allocate at least 1 hour/day self-study watching and reflecting on videos during the week.

Dr. Manoj Nakra

Entrepreneur and author.

Manoj is a Mechanical Engineer from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, and has a Doctorate from Weatherhead School of Business, Case Western Reserve University, USA.

Manoj has over forty years of work experience, has headed organizations for the last twenty-five years, with expertise in retail and distribution, manufacturing, and entrepreneurship.

He is presently the co-founder of SCIP, an ERP platform for incubators and Angel Networks. He has created sites like, a digital startup incubator and, a site that helps entrepreneurs prepare for capital raising.

He has written a book on entrepreneurship – A 1000 days adventure.

Manoj was until recently Chief Strategy Officer for Apparel Group, a diversified retail company based in Dubai where he engaged with over fifty global brands developing growth strategies for the region, and for some brands in the Far East. More recently (2005-13) he was Executive Director of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Est. for SME Development (MBRE) in Dubai, a Government of Dubai organization that catalyzes entrepreneurship through funds and incubation. Between 2001 to 2004 he taught MBA students at the Weatherhead School of Business, Case Western Reserve University, USA, where he honed his teaching skills. He won the best teacher award in Case.

Prior to Dubai in India, as CEO, he started The Waterbase Ltd., a company he listed on the Mumbai Stock Exchange.

He teaches Executive Education Programs for Retail, Lifestyle and Luxury Brands at IIMB.

Award of Certificate

A strong pitch is the ‘certificate’ of the program. SmartGlobal will issue a program completion testimonial. Dr. Nakra will be accessible to the participants after the completion of the program for any hand-holding support before they actually pitch.
